arctic skua

hello. this is my first visit to this forum. i would like to tell of a sighting i seen yosterday of an arctic skua whil fishing off oxwich off the gower penninsula. i cant understand why it is this far down south from the tundra. has anyone else seen one anywhere else.

Arctic skuas have just started their autumn passage, moving south down our coastline to their wintering grounds in the southern hemisphere. I saw one (a pale phase bird) last Saturday just north of the Gower Peninsular at Borth.
