Night time call
Something is calling from the garden - it is a sort of cher-week noise and is repeated once every five seconds or so. There is one solitary caller - it is not a call and response. It appears after dark. Is it a bird, or maybe a frog? Anyone have any ideas?

I You-Tubed Tawny Owl calls and they are quite close but still not what we are hearing. It is a single call repeated once every 5-8 seconds. I will try to record it somehow tonight and post it tomorrow. Watch this space!

I think a young owl is a definite possibility. I've recorded it but don't know how to post the recording!!!
