Bird for Id

These were taken today near Hetton Country Park of what I assume is a juvenile. Both are cropped and the rear shot is not sharp but gives additional detail. Can anyone ID pleases?

Tricky! The second photo looks like a Common Whitethroat to me.

Reed Warbler is a pretty good shout though ;o)

It looks very dishevelled. It was a dry day. Is it juvenile or might it have taken a bath?

Well if it is a Whitethroat then it must be a juvenile as there is no white on the tail. Presumably juvenile Whitethroats don't have any white edges to the tail? That's why I suggested Reed Warbler initially.
