| | | Aberrant Starling - made me look twice Hi my mother showed me this picture, taken in a Garden in South Bucks, my first though was a rose-coloured starling, but upon careful examination I saw that it was a rather unfortunately marked aberrant version. This photo was taken about a year ago and I wouldn't have sent it in but the bird has been seen again recently.

| | | Re: Aberrant Starling - made me look twice Glad to hear that it's surviving well. Sometimes the white plumage puts them to a disadvantage as they show up well and predators can lock onto them easier. So this one has done well.
