On my travels this morning I saw three of these, which I took to be Mum. Dad and Junior, but I'm not sure what they are, my first thought was Red Kite as I seem to remember a thread that said they had been seen over Wittersham, near Tenderden in Kent, and as the Crow flies this was about 1/2 mile from Wittersham, I've looked at some pictures of Red Kite and to my untrained eye they don't look the same, can anyone enlighten me please. Thank you

They're Common Buzzards- the photo is!
Red Kites should show a very obvious forked tail. |

I think your untrained eye is right, briar rose! The BoP looks like a Buzzard to me. |

Yeay, I was right they weren't Red Kite, they were stunning, and they just soared effortlessly .
