Birds eating ants

I'm trying to take pictures of the birds in the yard eating all of the ants but they keep disappearing. Will the birds come back again?
Sorry it's a very vague question.

What species of bird? If the ants are still present then they will probably keep returning to the food source, although as you say its so vague hard to answer accurately.

Are you trying to take a photo so we can identify the birds, or do you know what they are? Birds will usually return to a regular food source, but it all depends on the ants - if they go, then so will the birds!
