| | | BOP and gull ID's please Sorry for the rubbishness of these pics, im still learning with my DSLR and they were pretty far away (had to crop them a fair bit). So yeah I'm pretty sure this is an Osprey but just wanted to get confirmation. Saw it several times today over Loch Lomond (at one point it was joined by a second though that pic turned out really rubbish). We got a boat out initially planning to go to the wallaby island to see if we could catch a glimpse of them but the only boat they had left was a row boat and the guy advised us it was far too far and only reachable with an engine. We didn't let that get us down and had a nose about the closer islands and did a bit of fishing so was good fun. I also think I saw what looked like a black tern but it was flying too fast and I didn't have my camera ready.
Ok so here are the pics.
Also is this a common gull?
