| | | Cattle Egret on Mere??? Could somebody give some suggestions to a strange looking bird i have seen today. To all intents and purposes it looks like a Cattle Egret, similar body shape to a Heron but not as big, long neck. All white in colour. I thought they were quite rare in this country? He was on a marshy type land where the tide comes in twice a day along the east coast of the U.K. Any suggestions please. Thank you. |

I suggest it could be Little Egret, which is a lot commoner in this country than Cattle, but it is hard to say without seeing a picture.

Welcome.. | They also need to be compressed,I normally open mine with Microsoft Office Picture Manager(hope you have that),and click on edit pictures and compress, and put a tick in the documents box(compressing it for documents.).
