Hi all, seen today on the Camel estuary were 6x Terns, diving into the receding tide, i believe ( no think!) they were Common Terns, i don,t think the picture will help much, but hey ho give it a go.Cheers L.  |

Looks like a Black-headed Gull to me.

You could be right, there were BHG,s around them at the time, maybe i took a pic of the wrong bird!! doh,  but there were Terns there, honest, and do BHG,s dive when feeding? |

Yes - BHGs do dive - well - they plop into the water - not as arrowlike as a Tern though.

Thanks for that, i am sure there were 6x Terns and they were entering the water Gannet like, but i will never know, better luck next time, cheers L. |
