Blue tit help please

Hi there,

Just got in and found a blue tit on my floor that my cat has obviously brought in. Not sure how long it has been there, and it actually looks quite young. I've put it in a box for now as I've heard that's the best thing to do, but it's kind of laid on it's side twitching and one leg doesn't look well. Obviously I'm no expert but I've checked it over and there's no blood, could it just be in shock? Does anyone know of any wildlife hospitals very local to the Rotherham area, as I have no transport of my own; even though it is unlikely it will still be alive in the morning I would like to think I've done my best for it.

i would say you have three options
1. put it out of its misery now
2. put it back outside and let nature take its course
3. leave it til the morning then try to fix it and possibly stress it out some more

I think if you have a pet you need to be able to deal with the other animals it harms in the most humane way possibly.
