| | | Lost Post - help please! Hi - Im really sorry about this...but please help a stupid newbie!
This morning i have spent ages trying to learn how to resize images to post on the site....only to go and misplace them now (I think on a forum somewhere)...although I'm not even sure whether I have actually submitted a proper post! I was trying to get 3 birds identified...and I seem to recall following a link for a thread where you can post pics to be identified?
No idea where as I have looked and looked and cant find anything
I suspect I have done it all wrong...so many apologies again |

| | | Re: Lost Post - help please! Click on Images (Top line, extreme left), then on My Photos. You should then see them. If not, click on Upload Photos and upload them.
I use IrfanView to resize my photos to 1024x768 pixels, before uploading them.

| | | Re: Lost Post - help please! Dunnock, top; Juvenile Blue Tit, middle and I think the bottom one could be a Spotted Flycatcher but it's a bit fuzzy - looks like one from the upright stance and the general impression.

| | | Re: Lost Post - help please! When you go to post a thread or reply, there are some icons just to the right of the area you're typing in, below the emoticons. "My Pics" is printed at the top, below that is a big green + symbol with " Gallery Images" printed below, then below that another green + with "Library Images" printed below.
Clicking one of these will bring up a window with thumbnails of photos you have uploaded, for stuff you want an ID for it will be "Library Images". Then click on one, or more, of the thumbnails to add the thumbnail code to your post. Then close the window when you're done.
If you're adding several photos at one time, it's best to seperate each block of code onto a new line, otherwise you might have to scroll across the screen to see them all.
Regards, Audrey. |

I used this in the past.
Now I use the freebie 'Easy Thumbnails'
much more intuitive for doing one or a whole directory. | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
