Thanks dogghound i forgot to state the second bird had a plain clean back of light brownish green.I thought the first may be sedge,but i had niggling thought of grasshopper warbler which i have yet to see.Do you think it is a young sedge or adult ? I rarely get a good view of these except singing head on in a bush. |

| | | Re: warblers for id please. I would'nt want to say for sure unless I had the bird in my hand, not realy clear cut with these, although it is quite buffy, wings look quite fresh from this angle and has quite pale legs so could be a Juvenile. |

It is a sedge wabler the light stripe above eye would rule out grasshopper wabler also would not normaly see grasshopper wablers out in open like this, grasshopper wablers are very hard to see at best of times, have got good few grasshopper warblers on sites close to me often hear them but as yet never got see one as yet, but will one day |
