The call was more like the willow warbler than the Chiffchaff but the calls on the RSPB site are not always accurate as birds have more than one type of song I have found. |

| | | Re: Bird in woods, ID please Its a phyllosc, the photo is too dark to be really conclusive but the overall shape and size of the bill is more suggestive of willow warbler. |

I knew you would point me in the right direction hopefully I will get a better pic next time but it was high up on a branch.
I will go with willow warbler this is a first for me.. |
