| | | Starlings??? When do Starlings usually come and go in UK, I saw 1 about a month ago, then 3 more have appeared.
They arnt my favourite birds but they seem to be here earlier than usual, or its me getting older |

Our "own" resident Starling numbers are however increased in winter with birds from Scandinavia and Russia which account for the huge swirling flocks that build up in various locations all around the country, from Brighton Pier through the Somerset Levels to Aberystwyth (as seen on "Autumnwatch" and other programmes) and beyond.
