| | | Goldfinches nesting in apple tree Hi,
Have noticed a small nest at the top of my apple tree which appears to be inhabited by some goldfinches. Just wondered if there's anything in particular that they like to feed on to give them a helping hand?!
Thank you! |

| | | Re: Goldfinches nesting in apple tree I expect there's a lot of natural food around for them at the moment, but to lend a helping hand you could hang up some Nyjer (or niger/nyger) Seed: Please enable your cookies
And you'll need a Nyjer Seed feeder: Please enable your cookies
Obviously you don't have to buy from RSPB there's a lot of other cheaper ones out there. I get most of my stuff from Wilkinsons!
I've also found mine seem to like sunflower kernels at the moment, which you can put in a standard feeder.
