| | | Re: Raisins I wonder if the second image is larger than the first. Can you check the size of this image? I aim for 800 pixels along the longest edge/less than 1 Mb size.
EDIT: Is this it?

| | | Re: Raisins Thanks for the quick reply Deb but yes the images are of the same size.
I think that it may have been that the library was already open so maybe I've been successful this time. |

| | | Re: Raisins Good you have sorted it. Nice images.
Are the Blackbirds doing well in your garden? They look very well indeed, but according to Springwatch, they are having a bad year. They can't find enough worms to feed their chicks due to the dry weather.

They have gratefully gobbled vast quantities of sultanas I have been buying for them and now they've scoffed ALL my gooseberries straight off the bush BEFORE they were quite ripe enough for me to pick! I sneaked up the garden the other day and it was like a scene from a Hitchcock film - an entire family of Blackbirds (Ma, Pa and at least 3 fledglings) flew away from the gooseberries. Mr. sat on the fence grumbling at me while I was gardening too close for his liking and later Mrs. perched on the fence with a half-ripe gooseberry held conspicuously in her bill until she was sure I had noticed, at which point she flew off in triumph! The same Mrs Blackbird who waits for me to put the sultanas out every morning and makes begging noises at me if I sit outside to have my cuppa first!
Still, they were busy on next door's raspberries today and later on I suspect they'll go for their grapes too. Then it'll be back to mine to fight me over my autumn-fruiting raspberries....
Off now to explain to a friend why there won't be any of his favourite gooseberry jam this year....
