| | | My latest attempts with Dslr Had a good day out today, No kingfishers as the water was very high and full of mud :-( However I still had some great views of Jays (four in one tree) And lots of woodpecker Greater spotted I believe. I have posted the best from today and all have had a crop:-( But still im loving every minute of it And also I met BBC camera man who, was filming in the woods, and he is making a short 10 min film for the Beeb about my area (fantastic) I gave him some of my locations. Saw lots of birds today long tailed tits blue tits great tits chaffinch however as im still shooting handheld all my shots were poor. Cant wait to get a tripod now.....Someone could have told me how much this all cost!!!!!!!!!!! lol

Harimau | I think that thier plumage & stockiness just makes them look bigger (the Great Spots that is). |

I saw 4 Woodpeckers today and they were all GSW we also have green wood peckers and I will hopefully catch a pic soon, last year they were nesting near the cricket pitch and could be seen very clearly on the ground snacking on the ants I did not have a camera at that time. I would love to get a close up of a GSW making a hole that would be brilliant. I will ask them to pop up to see if they are not busy
Thanks
