Bird for ID please!
Hello there
Sorry if they're something really obvious, but these two popped up on our bird feeder this afternoon and I really wasn't sure what they were? For scale, they're much smaller/more slender than the sparrows.

Not sure, but they look like Lesser Redpolls.

Brilliant- thanks so much for your quick responses! I thought they might be redpolls to begin with, but when I was watching them they seemed to have a bit of a dark "bib" sort of thing, after looking at the pictures again though, I think it might have been a shadow or trick of the light. Very pleased with that as they're new visitors to the garden and I haven't seen them around here before!
