Barn Owl Luvies!

Looks like the Juvenile Barn Owls in the nesting box near the main buildings are about to fly the nest!

Spent a lovely hour watching them and at least one adult tonight.

Could see at least one more Juvenile in the nesting box, and I think there are four juveniles in total.

Photos are not good. Taken with a 500mm lens combination at extreme range and cropped 100% because of that. And the evening light when I got these two shots was poor, so I had to use a high ISO. Was standing behind the wall on the small viewing ramp next to the Ladies toilet!

But I think the owls look all lovely and cuddly.

I bet the local short tailed voles won't be thinking that when they get flying!
