| | | Sparrows in the Pond Yesterday, I put a branch in the pond to help the young froglets find their way out easier, (the sides are slippery, and I'd watched several struggle for ages trying to get out.)
However, the branch seems to be more popular with the sparrows who have spent the better part of the day perching on it, and using it to drink and bathe from... so much so that they've practically been fighting over who gets to use it next!
Made me wish I'd thought of it sooner- but it's so hot today I'm glad that at least they've found it easier to get a drink. |

| | | Re: Sparrows in the Pond Yesterday I was watching some House Sparrows in some sallows growing in the water at Ruislip Lido, but they were more intent on catching damselflies. | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
