| | | Please help identify this bird There s a bird singing in my garden - he goes from dawn to dusk. incredibly loudly but I can only catch glimpses.
he is about Song Thrush size - very slender with a medium length bill. He is not a song thrush though - song quite different. I caught a glimpse of his breast and it was heavily mottled - like a Mistle Thrush but he is too small and slender to be a MT. Also song doesn't match MT.
any ideas? |

| | | Re: Please help identify this bird I would still go with Song Thrush. Individuals can vary their song greatly as they are good mimics that insert learnt phrases into their repertoire, though it will still have the repetititive structure to it.
