2 Id`s Needed Please

Has any one got any ideas what these birds are. I have looked in me book, is the 1st a Grey wagtail??? The second thou I dont have a clue.

And I'd agree with Grey Wagtail for the first. Interesting seeing it on a branch like that, I've only seen them on hopping about on rocks at my local river. Was it near water?

1st is a tatty looking grey wagtail
2nd is a male pied flycatcher

1. Female Grey Wagtail - which will breed in woodland almost always where water is present streams, ponds, lake edges etc.
2. 1st Summer Male Pied Flycatcher, the brown older wing feathers, lack of/or reduced spot on the forehead and more drab looking bird may cause confusion at times.
