Bird recognition

Hi Everyone I'm a new meember looking for help.
I'm struggling to identify a bird spotted in a private airfield in Whitchurch Shropshire. Size of a blackbird, with a dipping motion when walking, completely black other than bright yellow sides to neck. Similar to yellow headed blackbird but top of head and back of neck was black.Any ideas please?

Could have been a grey Wagtail.

Have a look in the bird Gallery on this site, failing that can I suggest a good bird guide. Collins or something similar.

From the description it does sound like Yellow Headed Blackbird. Check out some images for female yellow heads which have less yellow than the male.

According to the BWPA one was seen in Iceland in 1983 and one in Denmark in 1918. Records from Britain are considered to be escapees from captivity.
