| | | Mummy says I must eat my greens up Yes, mummy says we must eat all our greens up . Even if it is a bit yukkie looking as it floats on the water.
If it's water you're talking about, then get stuck into a decent bit of fish . None of this green stuff nonsense. You watch, this'll just slide down. And in 15 mnutes I'll have another one the same size. Green stuff indeed! paah!
Call that a decent meal? Rubbish . Get yourself something worth having, like this eel. But I wish it would stop struggling. Gonna take ages to get it all down, and with all those people watching . And I know I'm going to go through the same struggle again in half an hour.
I'm only little and can't match those big fishy things you two are boasting about. But bet you can't catch one of these. And on the wing . Naah naaah ne naah naah!
Yes. It was feeding time at the zoo at Stodmarsh in Kent yesterday.
And a Yeti joined in the frenzy with granary rolls, (healthy), Flora Pro-Active, (very healthy), German Black Pepper salami, (err, not that healthy), and fresh Camembert, ( but it tasted lovely).

Cheers. Nik.

Cheers. Nik. | Thanks. It was a good day yesterday, despite mainly dull weather.
I haven't the cheek to post that shot with the insect for ID in the relevant thread! It isn't that close.

Sounds like you had a great day!
The insect looks like some sort of small dragonfly - but as you say, not an easy one for ID!

Bryan,
Tracey took me for a walk on Tuesday and we saw the same thing happening. Mum was picking weed from the bottom and the cygnets were picking at it. It was cute to watch, but you'd have to ask Tracey where we were.
Cheers David. |
