Cat problem..........

My bird feeders have proved very successful since I put them in last December during the cold spell - greenfinches, chaffinches and house sparrows (rarish up in this part of the world) using them every day, and now with families of youngsters. Problem now is the local cat - just saw it trotting down the road with a bird in it's mouth. I need some advice on how to stop this - any tips from anyone greatly appreciated!

Hi Ian

Very often we get threads started with respect to cats and wildlife 'implications'

All too often these threads degenerate into a 'war' between those who like cats and those who don't. In the latter case we have had members who have taken this to the extreme by suggesting illegal solutions and making personal attacks on others.

If you search here on WAB you will find many such threads and the majority of them will be closed because of what I've stated above. You will however see similar posts to yours and hopefully a solution OR at least a compromise!!

I shall now close this thread.
