There are nightingales in the tree outside here and as I don't sleep well at night I find them really annoying. The constant quite loud chirping in the middle of the night doesn't help in my getting to sleep at all.
Just thought I would have a bit of a rant about it..Sorry to all nightingale lovers...  |

i have never heard one ..live anyway... lucky u in that respect.
but some night remedy to help you sleep might be order of the day ..

Are you sure they are Nightingales?
Loud chirping sounds more like Blackbirds. Nightingales are loud, but melodious! |

Nightingales will always be found in areas with dense scrub, and typically do not sing from high trees (unlike the other two).
As for what to do to get some sleep, perhaps ear plugs would help (Personally I've never considered bird song to be a problem). | | |
