| | | Nightingales There are nightingales in the tree outside here and as I don't sleep well at night I find them really annoying. The constant quite loud chirping in the middle of the night doesn't help in my getting to sleep at all.
Just thought I would have a bit of a rant about it..Sorry to all nightingale lovers... |

Loud chirping sounds more like Blackbirds. Nightingales are loud, but melodious! |

Loud chirping sounds more like Blackbirds. Nightingales are loud, but melodious! | Actually the songs of Blackbird and Robin (the two most widespread species regularly heard singing at night) are more melodius than Nightingale.
Nightingales will always be found in areas with dense scrub, and typically do not sing from high trees (unlike the other two).
