| | | L plate Sparrows I have just stood for quarter of an hour watching about a dozen young Sparrows being shepherded around my flower borders and shrubs by several adult birds who seem to be showing them how to forage, including under the leaves and between stones and overhangs. It started off fairly noisily but quietened down as the young birds had to concentrate.
I am going soft but it makes my heart sing to see so many healthy youngsters

| | | Re: L plate Sparrows haha my garden is currently home to great tit babbers - they're lots of fun, if a little raucous yes. there's been a young robin in there too and i'm anticipating a flurry of blue tit juvs soon, as there's a pair frequently visiting the feeders.
