| | | Quiz: what's this bird?
Hi everyone,
We feed lots of birds here and today this little one has visited. Any ideas about what it is? http://www.wildaboutbritain.co.uk/ar...rd_quiz_2.jpeg
It's got a white tail and grey streaks on its head but it's strikingly yellow, we can tell it's a finch but it looks very different from any of our usual green finches etc...
It's also chirping like mad and not moving away from the patio area and so it might be young and disorientated?

Looks like an escaped bird of some sort. Doesn't look like the regular Greenfinch or Siskin.

It's now disappeared but I hope it makes it back to it's home as it's rather an easy target for our neighbourhood kitties! |
