| | | Dead Chick I suppose it was bound to happen ,but it is a mystery . We popped out for an hour this morning and their was 13 healthy Mallard Chicks, on our return ,one was dead , lying by the nest, not a mark on it. Sad . Tried several times to catch Adult, and then Chicks to no avail, she is wise to us, looks like letting her out the front .
