i see these falcons on an almost daily basis - the building they are on is just down the road from where i work. its great when the young start to fledge, the birds put on a brilliant show - makes for interesting fag breaks!

the chicks were ringed this week, there's a feature on east midlands today from yesterday here - http://www.facebook.com/l.php?u=http...07tj48&h=e327f

its on at about 23:40 through the broadcast

I think anyone that has the chance to see falcons displaying are very lucky indeed. although I have made several field trips by the bad weather or miss information means that I am still to get my first sighting.

The chicks are growing well.

I thought the smallest one was not doing too well and it is still a bit behind the others in feather development, but it looks OK now.

you can also log on to the manchester peregrines with 4 chicks, having said that they are out of the tray, nest box on the ledge, rossy.
one of the parents is on the box now.
