puffins in norfolk ?

Can anyone tell me where we may see Puffins in Norfolk at this time of year.
My six year old daughter Alex would love to see one.

I'm afraid that your daughter is going to be disappointed unless you are prepared to travel. Puffins are a fairly scarce bird in East Anglia at any time of year, and are generally only seen flying past the coast, or bobbing about on the water well offshore (not the sort of views that would satisfy a six year old). They are also mainly seen in the south-east in autumn and winter.

The nearest breeding site to Norfolk is probably Bempton Cliffs on Flamborough Head, Yorkshire.



Edit: As far as I am aware there are no captive Puffins in Norfolk either.
