More Red Kites in Kent

Two weeks ago I was told of a group of five Red Kites seen over Wittersham near Tenterden, This was a sighting by members of my family and their description was accurate and detailed. Since then I have seen two more, although these may have been a double sighting of one bird, these sightings were at Udimore near Rye and an hour later at Broad Oak Brede on 6th May. I had also seen one over the M20 Just east of junction 11 Hythe about a month ago. Anyone else got any sightings?

Saw a Red Kite alongside the M25 around Heathrow on 26th April this year.

And yesterday saw another fly over my garden in East Grinstead, West Sussex.

I quite often see them over the M2 near Faversham now, and have spotted one twice at Lydden near Dover.

Gonna be keeping my eyes peeled for these. Can't wait to get my first photo of one in my home patch in Kent.

And five in one location at the same time must be very good news indeed.
