| | | Dippers Hi Folks
I was out trying to photograph Dippers on Tuesday of this week.
I managed to catch this one: http://alanhewittphotography.co.uk/w...05/dipper1.jpg
I'm no expert by any means but I think it looks like it is between a juvenile and adult plumage. However I am thinking it is a bit too early for a juvenile to be going into an adult plumage.
I was wondering if anybody could shed any light on this. Any Dipper experts?
Thanks

Here is a slightly younger bird than yours. http://img.nundafoto.net/-/data/gall...us-cinclus.jpg

Thanks for your response. So am I correct in saying it it must have been a very early hatch to be developing an adult plumage already?
Thanks for the link too, it is a great shot. It is the style I often set out to achieve myself, keeping the head sharp yet displaying a sense of movement in the wings.
Thanks again
