| | | Juvenile Peregrine Hello, I am new to this forum. Just wanted to share with others this: I was visiting my Dad today. He lives on the 11th floor of a block of flats in the Falkirk area that are inhabited by retirees. I was looking out the window when I noticed a Peregrine swooping around. Eventually it landed 7 metres from the outside of his window and settled down to roost for the night. |

| | | Re: Juvenile Peregrine Welcome Dr Dro- a nice artificial cliff for the Peregrine + probably lots of juicy Feral Pigeons which also enjoy the "cliffs". |

I'm also new to this place. I love seeing Peregrines but i only see them in the summer here. You're lucky to see them so close up, i've never seen them like that, always soaring or diving well out of range for my camera.
Welcome to the forum, it seems nice here so stick around. |

| | | Re: Juvenile Peregrine hello and welcome to WAB, you were lucky to get the chance to be able to photgraph such a magestic bird by chance. Just goes to show it does pay always to have a camera handy(I must listen to my own words of wisdom-so many missed chances )
Hope you enjoy it here as much as I do. |

| | | Re: Juvenile Peregrine I cant take credit for the camera being handy as that was my Dad's. I will check to see if the falcon returns, although I think that these birds are nomadic in the winter. Anyone know different then please let me know. |

| | | Re: Juvenile Peregrine Well spotted Dr Dro! Welcome to WAB. Did you take part in the RSPB birdwatch? What a fun entry this would be.

| | | Re: Juvenile Peregrine Hey, great stuff. We saw a family of peregrines last year in Brighton. They were swooping and circling from the top of a block of flats. Fantastic sight.

Here's a photo of the peregrines in Brighton.
