As a general rule I generally do little more than glance through magazines that come with subscriptions to wildlife charities (such as the RSPB 'Birds' and the members magazines from groups like BTO, Essex Wildlife Trust, Butterfly Conservation, LNHS, HNHS, Essex Birdwatcing Society, AES etc - I'm sure that I've left out many more ).
I do try and find time to read British Birds, British Wildlife, Bird Study, and the British Dragonfly Society publications when they arrive, and I also get to see each issue of Ibis (the BOU journal), Dutch Birding, Scottish Birds, and Irish Birds - all of which can be worth reading.
Sometimes though I'm still not up to date until I read about something I've missed on internet forums! |

| | | Re: Birding Magazines - Which one? Wow and I thought I was struggling for time with my small list which consisted of (until recently), RSPb , BTO, RSFS, Woodland Trust, WWF, Scottish Wildlife Trust with subs to British Wildlife, BBC Wildlife and Birdwatch.
Also being a student coming to the end of a paid placement, I need to cut down and I am looking for more well rounded subscriptions, hence the thread. |

| | | Re: Birding Magazines - Which one? Being a novice myself, i found that the ,bird watching' magazine suits me more .
Informative easy to read and has a wide selection of articles.
I get 'birdwatch' every now and then, but even though its interesting,at times, i find it a bit much for me at this early stage.
