| | European Eagle Owl Found in Somerset We have a large visitor in our garden this morning, it has a tether on it so I am guessing someone has lost their pet, he has been in or around the garden most of the day and is not phased by the dogs barking at him.
Are there any organisations I should report it to? |

| | | Re: European Eagle Owl Found in Somerset You could try your local bird of prey centre to see if they have lost it,or maybe look after it. I would also keep any small dogs, cats or rabbits well locked away or they may end up as food . These birds are usually fed on day old frozen (defrosted) chicks from pet shops.

| | | Re: European Eagle Owl Found in Somerset Perhaps try posting a thread similar to this one on falconry sites (eg. Lost, Found, Sighted or Stolen Birds of Prey? - Falconry Forum (IFF) ).
As well as asking if anyone knows who has lost the bird you could appeal for a local falconer to come and try to catch it. |
