| | | An amazing view. Just been on a school residential with 26 children It was for three days and two nights. My bedroom window had an amazing view
This morning when I opened the curtains she wasn't there so I stood on the bed to have a peek at the nest. It consisted of about 6 twigs and had two eggs in it. I ran downstairs to get my camera but when I got back she was back on the eggs. She doesn't seem bothered by my presence but I made sure there were no sudden movements. Hopefully the staff will make sure she is not scared off. I am going back to the same place in a fortnight (with another group of children) so I can check on progress. |

| | | Re: An amazing view. It is a lovely view to wake up to but the nest is very exposed to the weather. There are house martins nesting under the eaves, sparrows nesting under the roof tiles and there are jackdaws nesting in the chimney pots. All in one building.
I know rooks and magpies raid nests. Do jackdaws? | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
