This may not be a great shot as great shots go, but after 6 years of soft images from my Tamron 28-300mm, Im quite pleased with this 100% crop from my new Tamron 90mm macro. Sooooo sharp !

I managed to get my first Sedge Warbler pics yesterday (75-300mm), I'm hoping for better ones!

Nige | Though you can see them in the reeds,Sedge Warblers are often seen singing from bushes in + around reedbeds- often with a little display flight like a Whitethroat. I've also found them singing in fields of Oil-seed Rape. |

I've seen loads of Sedge before, I think with this bird I was so surprised to see it where I did and that it was quite confiding I overlooked it! It was singing very similar to a Sedge too (I know their songs are similar), I need to listen more carefully
