I'd say escaped canary too. If it is, they are quite hardy and will manage to survive for a while out on its own, but will likely get picked on by native birds and/or fall prey to a sparrowhawk or domestic cat as it probably won't have the instinctive fears that wild birds would.

While I'm sure it IS a Canary, it sort of looks Chaffinchy in some ways.....other than the colour, of course!
