| | | Rutland water ,what was that? Just back from a great day at Rutland Water watching the Ospreys (mostly)
Saw something that I didnt recognize and am hoping that somebody will be able to put me right
Location: It was on the "beach" in front of the water
Size:Finch type
Markings: It seemed to have a "grey" head
beige/orange chest
brown wings
black with white tail feathers
It was only there for a minute or so ,before it was disturbed and went.
Any Idea's? |

The head colouring (it appeared grey) was the whole head not just the face,as if it had been dipped in paint
unfortunately cannot remember beak or leg colouring |
