Hobby feeding

Today I had the pleasure of watching a Hobby feeding for a good half hour. The only problem was the rate the bird was catching emerging Damselflies!
Here's a few shots I got. I apologise for the quality, the bird was a long way off.

Distance doesn't really matter there as the shots tell a great story.

Superb to get photos of a live catch mid air.

One of my favourite birds + one I'm lucky to see regularly locally, though haven't connected with one here yet this year.

Saw my first last weekend at Rainham Marshes.
