Cuckoo!
I heard a cuckoo this morning, really quite excited about this as I haven't heard one for years.

Has anyone else heard one? If so, when and where? I'm in the countryside just outside Leeds. According to the RSPB website you're more likely to hear one in southern England, but I lived there for years and never heard one once.

My parents are holidaying in yorkshire and after a call today from them i asked if he had been birding, and he told me they heard a cuckoo...
