Wren's nesting?

I have a woven bird shelter buried within a honeysuckle close to my house and have seen a wren going in and out with nesting material for the last 3 weeks. However, this has been intermittant. I've seen the bird again this morning with a beak full of moss but this is the first time for 3 days. I've only seen both birds there once about 10 days ago.

Is it true that the male builds several nests? If so, does he build them at the same time?

Am quite excited to see him/her again this morning but wonder what the chances are of them using the nest. 3 weeks to build a nest seems a long time.

Has anyone got thoughts on the above?

yes its true that they can build 3 nests , but will only use 1, good chance they might use yours, watch for them taking feathers or hair to line the nest, good luck. rossy.

Thanks, am really keeping it all crossed. Saw him again this morning but think he still had moss in his beak.
