| | | Damage to Robin face This female Robin has damage to her left side of face, also it seems that she cannot close her beak, when she collects food she has to tilt her head and has problems accepting food from her mate, any ideas as to what may cause an injury like this.
PS the male who's a right PITA does a sterling job of feeding her |

| | | Re: Damage to Robin face Impossible to say what has caused it, I thought it looks like an impact like from a car or flying into a window. Do you think they have a nest or young to look after?

| | | Re: Damage to Robin face Even though this robin will certainly be disadvantaged in the natural world, it's surprising how the instinct to survive prevails. We have a collared dove with a seriously damaged wing that has been around for the best part of a year now. We thought that the visiting sparrowhawk would pick it off easily, but it's still around.
