| | | How accurate are the IDs on here? Putting the experts on the spot here. I deliberately didnt delete these rubbish pics of 5 Warblers to see how accurate Wabbers were on here at identifying species. I know what they are so lets see how close yous get

With any IDs that are given (on the web and elsewhere), I would always recommend that they are taken as suggestions, and the suggested species are then looked up with as many other references sources as possible to see if the details given fit your observations!
Anyway, back to the posted photos, first impressions are:
1. Willow W.
2. Chiffchaff.
3. Chiffchaff.
4. Willow W.
5. Willow W.
Nb: I'm not expecting to be correct on all of these - they are a lot easier to ID in the field than they are from many photos. |

they are a lot easier to easier to ID in the field than they are from many photos. | I agree with your views entirely Roy. I may be totally confident with a particular ID, but I would still expect to 'poster' to check when possible.
There is a wealth of knowledge on WAB, and as we all now, generally if we get an ID wrong, sooner or later it will be either questioned or corrected.
So, yes, I think overall ID's on WAB are pretty accurate.
As for the Warblers,
WW - CC - CC - WW - CC.
It would make it a lot easier FUDGEY if you'd let us hear them singing
