Heard my first cuckoo on the Chase on Thursday(21st), in fact I'm pretty sure there were two, quite far apart in opposite directions. Always very much the same time, the earliest was 19 April a couple of years ago. |

Had my first Cuckoo yesterday at Rainham. As I was walking along the river walk it was calling insistently from the wood. Much later as I walked though the wood I had a brief view of it as it flew between trees uttering just one call. |

Heard and saw one in flight at Fen Drayton 20 April. Met someone who claimed to have heard it the day before.

Heard and saw cuckoo at Hadleigh country park(Essex) 17th,one day later than last year!

I heard one on Monday 18th April early am south of Lincoln, which is four days earlier than last year
