| | | My first Tawny Hi guys and girls
Ever since my Little Owl encounter I have been itching to increase my 'collection', and by chance this afternoon I was axing out my next bow in the garden when I heard a single owl call. I was like a meerkat, ears up, binos and camera out. After 35 minutes walking up and down the bridlepath I found him/her roosting in the trees. 10 minutes later he/she was mobbed by blackbirds and long tailed tits. Unfortunately not the best photo due to lack of light and the maximum aperture setting on the lens but not a bad attempt (I think?). Needless to say photography ability aside it was a real treat and definitely made my day (on top of the nightingales at pulborough this morning). |
