| | | lizzie laid her first egg hi folks just to let you know our nesting blue tit we have named Lizzie has laid her first egg last night very exiting for us this being our first year with the box camera there was a lot of fidgeting going on in the nest so we guessed something was happening great stuff any more eggs about yet folks ? |

How exciting!!
Haven't got anybody setting up home in our nextboxes yet. Did see a goldfinch collecting spiderwebs yesterday though, never seen that before (am assuming for nest-building purposes).
Make sure you keep us updated on your little family  .

| | | Re: lizzie laid her first egg wow looks great so many eggs lizzie has got three eggs now she keeps trying to hide them she leaves the nest about six in the morning comes back to the nest a few times a day and back to roost about seven fifteen great stuff

| | | Re: lizzie laid her first egg They often seem to hide the eggs in the early stages, but later on tend to leave them uncovered. On a couple of occasions we've had an argument with a new camera box owner, who insists that the bird laid several eggs all at the same time!!!! |
