| | 1 Bird two boxes! Hi everyone. I have two nest boxes, one at the front of the house the other at the back. I have a Great Tit seemingly nesting in both boxes. In the front box she has more or less finished building and in the back box is about half done. However, she appears to be staying overnight in either box. That is, when there is a Great Tit in the front box the back box has no bird. {I have cameras in both boxesxexe This has been going on for the past few weeks. Could it be just 1 Female using both boxes? It's an awful lot of work if it is or is it just a co-incidence that one box is empty when the other one has a bird in it. Last year the Great Tit only ever built and stayed in one box. I haven't yet been able to identify any markings on either the female or male yet, so I can't tell if it is one or two pairs. Any ideas, anybody! | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
