| | | Id needed please I didnt believe my eyes Was at pooter looked out of window and saw this bird.It landed on the bird table I grabbed the camera .Time I got to the back door it was on washing line.Had camera max zoom and just kept creeping forward.Please can someone identify it for me.Doubt they will be good enough for Gallery but I am thrilled.
Cropped and a bit of sharpening but not really done to carefully I just wanted to get them up |

What is leucistic  | Leucism is a lack of pigment, so animals are paler/whiter than normal. A form of albinism, but this bird is obviously not a true albino which would be all white with pink eye. Melanin the dark pigment does confer strength to feathers, but this chap (or chappess) looks healthy enough! |
